Calgary lose both DeSimone Ruzicka on waivers

The Calgary Flames lost 2 players on waivers today, with the New Jersey Devils claiming Nick DeSimone and the Arizona Coyotes Adam Ruzicka.

The defenceman and the forward were waived yesterday, with Calgary wanting to clear the team and cap space to activate Oliver Kylington ahead of today’s match vs. the Columbus Blue Jackets.

New Jersey placed centre Jack Hughes on injured reserve to clear a spot on the team for Nick.

DeSimone has 1 goal and 4 assists in 23 matches with Calgary this season, his 1^st campaign in the league.
