Canada also received help from Guatemala that won against Guadeloupe 3-2, and the Canadian national soccer team was able to clinch 2nd place in Group D with 5 points from 3 matches – 1 ahead of 3rd Guadeloupe and 2 less than the leader Guatemala.
CanMNT will play against the United States at the ¼ finals as the clash is on Sunday.

“We were pretty transparent coming into this clash which roster we wanted to play and what match we wanted to show in the must-win game,” the CanMNT head coach shared after the triumph.
