Canada’s Eugenie retires from Firenze Open ¼ final

Eugenie Bouchard is no longer part of the Firenze Ladies Open after she retired from her ¼ final game vs. Italian Sara Errani.

The Canadian had 3 medical timeouts during the game before deciding to leave the tournament with 6-3, 1-0 for Errani.

The Eugenie injury is still unclear, but she has struggled with problems in the last couple of seasons.
