Cancelo to join Barcelona from Manchester City

Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Joao Cancelo will play in La Liga as he will ink with Barca from Man. City.

The Portugal international (29) is not part of Pep Guardiola’s plans and spent the 2^nd half of the campaign on loan at Bayern Munich.

It was almost sure that the Sky Blues will do everything to get rid of him during the summer transfer window, and the Catalan side wanted to sign him as they held negotiations with the Premier League champions for a long time.

Cancelo will join Barcelona on a season-long loan with a buy option worth 30 million dollars, as the purchase will be activated automatically if some criteria are met during the current season.

Joao, who is in his home country, is expected to fly to Spain tonight to finalize the deal. He must complete medical tests, as they are scheduled for Tuesday before the transfer becomes official.
