The Boston team held its nerve and managed to overpower Atlanta

The Boston Celtics came out on top against Atlanta Hawks 128-120 in a tightly contested match to clinch the series and set up a long awaited clash with Philadelphia 76ers in the 1/2 finals on Thursday night.

Jaylen Brown led the way for Boston as he bagged home 32 points, followed by Jayson Tatum, who had 30. Marcus Smart had a great game as he added another 22 points.

It was a pretty even game all round with a run of 11 straight points from Celtics, including three straight 3-pointers deciding the match.

Trae Young scored 30 points and had 10 assists for Atlanta, but the superstar was unable to match his heroics in Game 4. He missed 12 out of his 13 shots towards the closing stages.

Dejounte Murray returned to the starting line-up after one game suspension, but failed to impress, bagging only 14 points and missing all of his first five shots in the first half.

The win places Celtics in the 1/2 finals, where they meet 76ers in a mouthwatering clash. Game 1 will be held on Monday in Boston.
