A scintillating performance sees the Boston team overcome a tough Game 1 loss

The Boston Celtics defeated Philadelphia 76ers in a dominant fashion 121-87 in Game 2 to make the overall score 1-1 of the 2nd round of playoffs on Wednesday night.

Jaylen Brown starred for the Celtics as he bagged home 25 points. Malcom Brogdon scored 23 points, while Derrick White and Marcus Smart added another 15 apiece.

It was a dominant display all round for the Boston team, who at one point led up to 36 points in the score.

For 76ers the brightening news was the return of Joel Embiid from a sprained right knee, which forced him to miss the entire 1st round against Brooklyn. He finished the game with 15 points, three rebounds and five blocks. Tobias Harris was Philadelphia’s highest scorer with 16 points.

James Harden had a night to forget after scoring only 12 points after bagging an impressive 45 in Game 1.

Game 3 is on Friday night and Boston will be looking to keep this momentum up.
