The Chicago Bulls and forward Patrick Williams have agreed to a 5-year deal worth 90 million dollars as the contract features a player option for the final year.
The forward, the 4th overall selection 4 years ago, was set to become a restricted free agent during the offseason but will return to Chicago on a new contract after great and bad campaigns.
Patrick has averaged almost 10 points and over 4 boards on 47% shooting (41% from the 3-point line) in his career with the Bulls but has had 2 of his 4 campaigns shortened by problem. Williams appeared in just 17 matches in 2021-22 after sustaining wrist problem. Williams completed 43 matches in the past campaign before forced out with a campaign-ending procedure on his left foot.
Patrick, who will turn 23 in August, will be 1 of the young core of the Bulls with Coby White (24) and new addition Josh Giddey (21).
