Indianapolis Colts drafted in the 4th overall pick QB Anthony Richardson a few days ago. The franchise admitted that the new addition to the roster has a definitive role in the upcoming season but will have his chances.
In the question will Anthony be a regular part of the team from week 1, Jim Irsay, Colts owner, answered.
“I think it’s crucial,” the owner said. “You improve by playing. I mean, practice, preseason matches, and observing in a QB room are major.
But, man, I’ll tell you, he will advance by playing, and it’s essential. Because, again, his progress is so much of fundamental to the Indianapolis destiny. It is the integral key.

The QB played only 13 matches for Florida, and his inexperience was Richardson’s biggest weakness before the draft.
