The governor wants Coyotes to relocate from Arizona.

Connecticut governor Ned Lamont shared today that he intends to meet with NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman and talk about the Arizona Coyotes moving to Hartford.

The governor told the media that he contacted the league and anticipated the meeting could happen in the next few days.

“This is an excellent hockey state and a remarkable hockey town,” Ned claimed. “It’s backed up by our devotion for the Whalers going back years — still one of the most wanted jerseys. I think we can secure an enormous market right here, and a leadership ready to help and be their partner.”

If Coyotes decide to relocate, many other cities want them as part of them, are Atlanta, Oregon, Salt Lake City, and even Canadians Quebec City and Hamilton, Ontario.
