Goaltender Stuart Skinner stopped 43 shots and allowed his team to overcome Los Angeles for the 3rd place in the West.
Evander Kane scored the first goal in the match at the end of the 1st period, as this was his fifth.
Korpisalo stopped 35 shots, but it didn’t help, and L.A. Kings their second game in a row.
Los Angeles will travel to face Seattle Kraken on Saturday night, while Edmonton will play at home again against Anaheim Ducks on the same day.
