The game ended 1:1 as Al Nassr’s big star Cristiano Ronaldo became a hero for his team scoring the equalizer in the 87th minute, which had the weight of practically a winning goal. This draw qualified Al Nassr for the knockout phase of the tournament.
Group C was won by Al Shabaab with seven points. Al Nassr finished with five, Zamalek with four and Monastir did not record a single point.
