The 38-year-old has now 53 goals in his tally, overtaking Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Kylian Mbappe.
Out of those, only Haaland has a potential chance to challenge Ronaldo as the other have already finished their games.
However, the Norwegian is still injured and it is unknown whether he will take part in Manchester City’s next games.
It would mean Ronaldo will add another milestone to his long list of record, which is remarkable given his age.
Should he carry on with that kind a form Portugal will be a real threat for the upcoming Euro 2024.
