Only 14 more players in NHL reached at least 1,500 career points, and Crosby did it with 2 goals and an assist in Pittsburgh Penguins‘ 5-1 win against Detroit Red Wings at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, MI.

Pittsburgh is doing everything possible to make it to the playoffs and continue their streak of playing in 16 postseasons in a row. That is the longest active streak in NHL and the other North American leagues.
Alex Nylander, Danton Heinen, and Evgeni Malkin notched the other goals for the victory as they tried to make it to the berths in the East.
Pittsburgh will host Chicago Blackhawks on Tuesday, while Detroit will also play at home against Dallas Stars on Monday.
