Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry has agreed to a 1-year, 62.6 million dollar extension that will keep him at the Bay through the 2026-27 campaign.
Steph is now guaranteed 178 million dollars over the next 3 seasons of his contract with Golden State, and he will become the 3rd basketballer, along with LeBron James and Kevin Durant, to pass 500 million dollars in salaries.

The extension will be inked today. The deal will keep Steph with the only organization he has ever competed for through his 18th campaign in the league. Curry, who was part of the Team USA that triumphed with the gold medals at the Olympics in Paris this month, averaged over 20 points for the 12th consecutive season in the past campaign, but Golden State missed the postseason after being defeated in the play-in tournament.
Steph has admitted that he only wants to play for the Warriors in the NBA. Klay Thompson, on the other hand, left Golden State during the offseason and inked with the Mavs.
