The Dallas Cowboys and free agent RB Ezekiel Elliott have a mutual interest in being together again.
Ezekiel Elliott has an over $6 million dead cap charge on the Cowboys books for 2024 & now they are possibly bringing him back
Tyron Smith has a dead cap hit of over $6 million for 2024 but Dallas was afraid he was gonna hit the incentives so they didn’t bring him back 🤦🏾♂️

While a contract between the running back and his ex-franchise has not been reached, both sides are positive that this could happen.
The Cowboys admire the way Ezekiel finished the past campaign with the Patriots, where he was on the field in all 17 regular-campaign matches and had a significant increase in workload in the final 5 weeks of 2023 after top rusher Rhamondre Stevenson was out with an injury.
Ezekiel, who turns 29 in the summer, had waited until August in the past campaign before inking a 1-year contract with New England worth 3 million dollars. Elliott spent the 1st 7 seasons of his career with Dallas before being cut an year ago.
The running back was picked 4th overall at the 2016 NFL Draft by Dallas, and he led the league in rushing in 2 of his 1st 3 years and is a 3-time Pro Bowl selection.
