Dallas Cowboys RB Ronald Jones has been suspended for the beginning of the next campaign as he will be unavailable for the 1st two clashes for violating the league’s performance-enhancing drug policy.
The running back, who inked a 1-year deal with Dallas during the offseason, can be part of the training camp and appears in preseason matches. The suspension will become active on September 3rd, and they will be able to reunite with the roster on September 18th, a day after their 2nd match from the new campaign vs. the NY Jets.
Ronald had just 17 carries in 6 matches in the past season with the Kansas City Chiefs, ending with 70 yards and a TD. His best campaign was in 2020 when he had almost 1000 yards on 192 carries and 7 TDs as he was a crucial part of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Super Bowl victory.
