The leader of the Portland Trail Blazers Damian Lillard has asked the management of the club to transfer him to another team.
Lillard, 32, has played for Portland since his NBA career began in 2012, making seven All-Star appearances and has been selected to one of the top three teams in the season seven times.
The guard is an Olympic champion with Team USA from the Tokyo Games and was also named one of the 75 Greatest Players in NBA History on the anniversary of the association’s founding.

According to The Athletic, Lillard prefers a transfer to the Miami Heat, but there is interest in him from the Philadelphia 76ers, Los Angeles Clippers and Brooklyn Nets.
