Daniil Medvedev will play at Miami Open final

Medvedev, world number 5, will have another chance to lift the trophy in the USA as he advanced to the final at Indian Wells, but Carlos Alcaraz destroyed him (6-3, 6-2).

Daniil beat his friend Karen Khachanov 7-6 (5), 3-6, 6-3 in the ½ final on Friday and now will have another chance for Masters 1000 trophy.

He can face Alcaraz again as later today; the Spanish will play against Jannick Sinner in the 2^nd semifinal in Miami.

Medvedev has one more reason to be happy: today, Wimbledon announced that Russian players could participate this year in the tournament as neutral players.

Daniil lost only 1 of his last 24 games from the world number 1 Alcaraz last week in California, and this will be his 5^th final in a row!
