Medvedev, world number 5, will have another chance to lift the trophy in the USA as he advanced to the final at Indian Wells, but Carlos Alcaraz destroyed him (6-3, 6-2).

Daniil beat his friend Karen Khachanov 7-6 (5), 3-6, 6-3 in the ½ final on Friday and now will have another chance for Masters 1000 trophy.
He can face Alcaraz again as later today; the Spanish will play against Jannick Sinner in the 2nd semifinal in Miami.
Medvedev has one more reason to be happy: today, Wimbledon announced that Russian players could participate this year in the tournament as neutral players.
Daniil lost only 1 of his last 24 games from the world number 1 Alcaraz last week in California, and this will be his 5th final in a row!
