Liverpool had won 5th straight matches in all tournaments before today’s game with the chance for a 1st league double against this opponent since 1984/85. The 1st minutes of the clash were for the home team, as the Trees had 2 chances to score in the 1st 20 minutes of the match. The 1st chance had ex-Liverpool forward Divock Origi, and then Anthony Elanga missed 1 on 1 opportunity.
