Curry returned on the court after leg injury, while LeBron James once again was on the sidelines

Lakers won against Warriors 113-105 the highly anticipated Sunday afternoon clash. Golden State star Steph Curry returned after almost a month-long injury, while LeBron James missed the clash because of his problems in the left ankle.

In his absence Anthony Davies once again took the leading role with 39 points.

The two teams went to half time almost equal on points – 55 – 54 for Lakers. They took off well on the third quarter and didn’t let the lead slip until the end.

Los Angeles’ win snapped Golden State’s five-game winning streak and put a damper on Stephen Curry’s return. Curry, who missed 11 games due to a left leg injury, had 19 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter.

Davis scored eight points in the final 4:05 to give the Lakers their third win in four meetings this season against the defending NBA champions.
