Atlanta Hawks guard Dejounte Murray will sign a new four-year contract with the club, The Athletic reported.
The deal is worth $120 million, and before the last year of it, the 26-year-old basketball player will have the opportunity to decide whether or not to become a free agent.
“Been locked in from the moment y’all accepted me. Loyalty over everything”, he said in a tweet after the deal.

Murray joined Atlanta in June 2022 in a trade with the San Antonio Spurs. Hawks gave away winger Danilo Gallinari, as well as three picks in the first round of the draft. Despite his presence, however, the Hawks failed to advance past the first round of the NBA playoffs for the second year in a row.
In his only season in Atlanta so far, Murray averaged 20.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 6.1 assists per game.
