Paris Saint-Germain edged Arsenal 1–0 in a tightly contested Champions League semi-final first leg at the Emirates Stadium, gaining a valuable away win and a narrow advantage heading into the return fixture at the Parc des Princes.
The decisive moment came early in the 4th minute, when Ousmane Dembélé capitalized on a clever one-two with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, finding space in the box and coolly slotting a low shot past David Raya into the bottom-left corner.

PSG dominated the early stages, with Marquinhos nearly doubling the lead in the 14th minute with a powerful header from an Achraf Hakimi cross—only to be denied by Raya. As the half progressed, chances fell to Desire Doué and Kvaratskhelia, but Arsenal’s defense and Raya’s sharp reflexes kept the deficit to one.
The Gunners thought they had equalized just after halftime through Mikel Merino, but the goal was ruled out by VAR for offside, much to the frustration of the home crowd.

Late in the match, PSG nearly sealed a second goal that could have proved crucial. Bradley Barcola saw a dangerous shot narrowly miss the target in the 84th minute, and Gonçalo Ramos struck the crossbar just a minute later.
