The Denver Broncos are dismissing veteran outside LB Frank Clark in the same week he gave back almost 2 million dollars to be able for the move to happen.
The #Broncos are officially releasing veteran pass rusher Frank Clark today, per sources.
Like Randy Gregory, the 30-year-old Clark doesn’t fit Denver’s future plans. But Clark has 58.5 career sacks, two Super Bowl rings … and now has a chance to boost another contender. pic.twitter.com/sF588oCpXY

The linebacker agreed to a restructured contract Wednesday, giving back almost 1.7 million dollars in guaranteed salary, perhaps giving himself better chances with his contract on the trade market.
Clark is the 2nd pass-rusher the franchise will release in the past week. A few days ago, the organization traded Randy Gregory to the San Francisco 49ers.
Frank was in his 1st campaign with Denver but played in only 2 matches because of injury. He didn’t play yesterday in his former team’s defeat to the Kansas City Chiefs because of an illness.
Clark signed with the Broncos during the offseason after Kansas City released him after the 2 parties failed to agree on a new deal.
The linebacker appeared in 58 regular-campaign matches in 4 seasons with the Chiefs.
