Watson is suffering from a bruised rotator cuff in his right shoulder and has missed a third practice session on Thursday as a result.
In his absence P.J. walker is expected to make his debut for the Browns.
The fitness levels of Watson are still unknown and general manager Andrew Berry has stepped in by saying that it was a collective decision to sideline him, even tough he was due to return against Baltimore.
“It’s up in the air,” Browns offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt said. “Obviously if Deshaun can make it, that’d be great. And if he can’t, then P.J. will be just fine. So we’re ready for either scenario.”
