Detroit Lions QB Teddy Bridgewater is calling It a career, sharing with the media that he plans to retire after the campaign.

Bridgewater is Jared Goff’s reserve in his only campaign with Detroit, as he appeared in 1 match since the beginning of the season to kneel out a win against the Carolina Panthers in Week 5. But the backup quarterback admitted he has no issues with his limited time on the field.
“Whatever was meant for my career, it played out the exact way it was meant,” Teddy shared with a Detroit newspaper. “And I still believe this each day, and I’m just really happy that I’m in Year 10. I shared with the people around me that this is my last season, so I’m in my final campaign, and I just appreciate every single moment, man.”
