Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic believes discipline will be the key to the team’s eventual victory in Game 3 against the Miami Heat in the NBA finals series.
The result after the first two meetings in Denver is 1-1.
“We just didn’t play the right way in the fourth quarter,” said Jokic, who said the Nuggets played very undisciplined at times. The Serbian basketball player hopes that will change in the third meeting, which will take place on Wednesday in Miami.
“Discipline will be key for us because Miami pressures you to make mistakes and makes you play at their pace. Obviously they don’t want us to play fast,” Nikola Jokic said.
So far in the NBA playoffs this season, Denver hasn’t reached an away game without a 2-0 lead and has never trailed in the series.
