Only 1 break was enough for the Serbian to triumph in the 1st set as the world number 1 didn’t give any break opportunities to his opponent.
In the 2nd set, Nole broke Etcheverry’s serve twice as this time, the Argentinian had a single break chance, but Djokovic saved it.
That was the 2nd match between Djokovic and Etcheverry as they played earlier this season on clay in Rome, and the Serbian also won that match in straight sets.
Nole will face in the next round Tallon Griekspoor, who eliminated Alejandro Davidovich Fokina.
