Novak and Rafael could meet in the 2nd round in Paris.

Top-seeded Novak Djokovic could play against his longtime rival Rafa Nadal in the 2nd round of the Paris Olympic tennis competition on clay.

The Serbian was drawn today vs. Australian Matthew Ebden, and Rafa will play against Hungarian Marton Fucsovics, with the winners of those clashes playing in the 2nd round.

The Spaniard (38) won a record 14 of his 22 Grand Slams at the Roland-Garros. Nadal won gold in singles in Beijing in 2008 and in doubles with Marc Lopez at Rio de Janeiro 8 years ago.

Roland-Garros champ Carlos Alcaraz faces Lebanese player Hady Habib.

Top-ranked Polish Iga Swiatek will play Romanian Irina-Camelia Begu in the 1st-round of the women’s draw, with 2nd-seeded Coco Gauff from the USA playing against Ajla Tomljanović from Australia.

Nole and Iga have never won gold medal at the Olympics. Djokovic only Olympic medal was bronze at Beijing where Rafael won his only gold medal.
