Novak Djokovic continues his fight for the 24th Grand Slam title after defeating Polish Hubert Hurkach 7:6 (6), 7:6 (6), 5:7, 6:4 in the Wimbledon round of 16. Their clash started on Sunday night, but after winning the first two sets Dvjokovic had to postpone the outcome of the match for today.
When both players returned to the court, Hubert Hurkach managed to take the third set by making a decisive break at 6:5. In the fourth set, however, he lost a game on his serve, which was quite enough for Novak Djokovic for the success.
Hubert Hurkac made 33 aces in the match – almost doubling the Serbian’s 18. The Pole also made more winning shots – 64:44, but also many more unforced errors – 37 to 16.
