World number one Novak Djokovic advanced to the semi-finals of the ATP 500 hard-court tennis tournament in Dubai.
He beat Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz 6:3, 7:5 in just over an hour and 20 minutes of play. The Serbian managed only one break in the first set, but it was enough for him to win 6:3.
The second set was harder for the Serbian, coming to 5-5 when Djokovic broke and then closed out the match on his serve without a tie-break. He won 79% of his second serve points and committed just 7 unforced errors to Hurkacz’s 15.

In the semi-final, the Serbian will play against the winner of the match between Russian Daniil Medvedev and Croatian Borna Coric.
