Novak Djokovic and Aryna Sabalenka triumphed at the International Tennis Federation’s 2023 ITF World Champions today after being the only singles players to advance at least to the ½ finals at all 4 Grand Slams this campaign.
The Serbian, who finished as the world number 1 for a record-extending 8th time, triumphed in 3 of the 4 Grand Slams – in Australia, France, and the USA now he has a men’s-leading 24 Grand Slams while also reaching the final in London. Djokovic finished with a 56-7 record, leading the ATP’s tour with 7 trophies. That’s Nole’s 8th ITF World Champion trophy, which is also a record.

Aryna was honored for the 1st time after triumphing at the Australian Open for her 1st Grand Slam trophy, losing the match for the title at the US Open and being among the 4 best tennis players at the French Open and Wimbledon. She made her debut as world number 1 in the WTA in September.
