Djokovic trashes Fritz and reaches Cincinnati semis

Novak Djokovic, world number 2, absolutely destroyed world number 9, Taylor Fritz, 2-0 sets for only 1 hour and 2 minutes and will play in the ½ finals at the Masters 1000 tournament in Cincinnati.

Nole triumphed in the 1^st set 6-0 for only 21 minutes. Djokovic converted 2 break points from 2 chances in the 2^nd set and won 6-4 for 41 minutes after Fritz also broke his opponent’s serve once, but it was not enough for the American to even force the set to a tiebreak.

That was the 7^th head-to-head clash between Novak and Taylor, and the Serbian won all of them.
