Nole returned from 2-1 sets behind to defeat Francisco.

Novak Djokovic, world number 1, survived and beat world number 27, Francisco Cerundolo, 3-2 sets after trailing 2-1 sets for almost 4 hours and 40 minutes on the court, and the Serbian advanced to the quarterfinals in Roland-Garros.

Nole won the 1st set comfortably 6-1 after converting 2 breaks and didn’t allow any breaks as he saved 4 break points.

However, Cerundolo won the 2nd set as the Argentinian needed 9 break opportunities to convert only 1, but Djokovic didn’t have a single one. In the 3rd set, the Serbian also didn’t have any break chances as he lost the set again after 1 break from Francisco.

Despite being visible in pain, Nole converted 2 breaks and won the 7-5 when he broke Cerundolo in the last possible moment to tie the sets.

In the 5th set, Djokovic showed why he is the best tennis player in the world, and he broke Cerundolo’s serve for the 2nd time in the deciding moment of the set and triumphed to reach the ¼ finals of the French Open.
