The Serbian, who played for the 1st time there in 2006, has appeared at the Masters 13 times until now. However, most of his appearances came between 2006 and 2019, as Nole hasn’t played at the tournament in the past few years because of his visa problems with the USA.
After competing at the Indian Wells in California for the 1st time since 2019, Novak was also expected to play at the Miami Open this month. However, that won’t be possible as Djokovic withdraws from the competition.
At the Masters in Florida, Nole has enjoyed great success as he triumphed 6 times there.
After the shocking defeat against lucky loser Nardi in Indian Wells, Nole shared that Miami was still on his schedule but also hinted that we might not see him there.
Nole will most likely make his return in April for the clay season, as the 1st major tournament is in Monte Carlo.
