The Miami Dolphins scored the most points in a match by an NFL organization since 1966, trashing the Denver Broncos 70-20 today as highlights were rookie speedster De’Von Achane’s 203 yards rushing and Tua Tagovailoa‘s no-look shovel-pass touchdown.

Miami set an organization’s record for scoring and finished 2 points behind the league’s regular campaign record – set in 1966 when Washington scored 72 points vs. the Giants. They are the 4th franchise in the league’s history to finish with at least 70 points in a regular campaign or postseason match.
Many Dolphins starters, including the QB and the WR Tyreek Hill, almost didn’t play in the final quarter.

Achane caught a 10-yard touchdown pass from Tua – the QB’s 4th TD – in the 4th, and Jason Sanders converted the extra point that took Miami’s lead to 56-13 and broke the team’s organization record of 55 set vs. St. Louis on November 24th, 1977.
Tyreek caught a 54-yard TD pass on the Dolphins’ opening drive, finishing with 157 yards receiving on 9 catches.
