Zach Hyman — with his 7th goal of the post-campaign — and Evander Kane also notched for the Canadian NHL franchise, which only dropped a 5-4 defeat in OT of Game 2 in the best-of-7 matchup.
Evan Bouchard finished with 3 assists, and Connor McDavid and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins had 2 each as the Oilers’ offense broke out at Rogers Place. Connor extended his points total to a postseason-leading 12 (1 goal, 11 assists).
Stuart Skinner stopped 18 shots after posting a shutout in the Oilers’ 1-0 victory in California in Game 4.
