After scoring a hook shot over Golden State Warriors player Draymond Green in the 3rd quarter, Jusuf Nurkic slapped the floor 2 times and taunted Draymond with a “too small” gesture.
However, Draymond did the same 2 minutes later.
With Jusuf between him and the hoop, the Warriors forward quickly backed Nurkic down, scooped the ball over his head, and notched. Draymond smacked the court right away, just as Jusuf did seconds earlier.
“You can’t be a nothing defender if you’re reacting like these,” Draymond talked about Jusuf. “You probably weigh 70 pounds more than me and get put in the rim? You must be more careful.”
However, Nurkic shared that Draymond didn’t learn anything from his suspension.
“It’s sad. Green didn’t learn anything,” Jusuf claimed. “Soon, it will happen again. Draymond is going to hit somebody else again.”
However, Draymond denied it and claimed that Nurkic provoked him during the match and would never return from provocations.
Jusuf Nurkic: “It’s sad. He didn’t learn anything. Just a matter of time. He’s going to hit somebody else again. Take back everything I said. He don’t deserve a chance.”
Draymond Green: “If he wants me to walk around quiet like him I’m never gonna do that. Quiet guys don’t win.”… pic.twitter.com/UwtYtLHJhM
