Golden State Warriors’ forward Draymond Green will remain out of the team’s rotation for an extended period. The basketball player, known for his fiery spirit and recent unbridled behavior, is still serving a disciplinary suspension from the NBA. Warriors’ head coach Steve Kerr stated that communication with Green is limited.
“We exchange messages, but nothing more. We’re giving him the necessary time to recover,” said Kerr, adding that he is unsure when Green will be able to regain the necessary form to make his way back into the Warriors’ rotation.
According to information from ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, expectations are that Green will return to the court between January 5 and 10. However, Kerr’s words did not confirm anything similar, and for now, it remains a mystery when the 33-year-old forward will be back on NBA courts. In the current season, Green has averaged 9.7 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 5.8 assists in 15 games with the Warriors.
