Head Coach Nick Sirianni has not announced a timetable for his return

Rookie Jordan Davis has been placed on Injured Reserve after suffering an ankle injury during the Eagles’ win against the Steelers on Sunday, the team announced on Wednesday afternoon.

The first-year nose tackle has played in all seven games so far this season, starting five. Davis has totaled 14 tackles since his NFL debut, contributing to an Eagles’ defense that’s allowed an average of only 4.7 yards per play, which is the second lowest in the league.

Philadelphia Eagles Head Coach Nick Sirianni has not announced a timetable for his return, but he will miss at least the next four games starting with Thursday.

The earliest Davis could return would be the Week 13 game against the Tennessee Titans.

Davis, the 6-foot-6, 340-pound anchor on Georgia’s national championship defense in 2021, was selected 13th overall by the Eagles this past April.
