Philadelphia Eagles top WR A.J. Brown will be unavailable for tomorrow’s match vs. the NY Giants with a hamstring problem.
A.J. finished the past week’s clash vs. the Vikings and sealed a 28-22 victory with a 45-yard reception from Jalen Hurts on a 3rd-and-9 with fewer than 2 minutes on the clock. Brown caught 4 passes for a campaign-high 121 yards and 2 TDs.
But the wide receiver missed all 3 of Philadelphia’s training sessions in the last few days.
Manager Nick Sirianni revealed yesterday that he thought A.J. was “definitely a guy that could compete even without training. But hamstring problems often come with the risk of a setback, and Philadelphia has a bye after its game vs. the Giants.
The standout WR of the Eagles has 29 catches for 395 yards and 3 TDs in the current campaign. A.J. has shown his anger with the problems on offense for the organization, including on social media after Philadelphia’s Week 4 victory against the Bucs.
Philly will also be without starting center Cam Jurgens, LB Azeez Ojulari, and CB Adoree’ Jackson tomorrow vs. the New York Giants.
