Wanting to add an edge rusher after Bryce Huff‘s left the team in free agency, the NY Jets acquired Haason Reddick in an exchange today with the Philadelphia Eagles.
The NFL franchise from the Big Apple will send a conditional 2026 3rd-round selection that can become a 2nd-round selection in the same year if the edge rusher reaches 67.5% play time and 10 sacks. Haason had 11 sacks and 38 tackles in 17 matches in the past campaign. He played almost ¾ of the defensive snaps.

In theory, Philadelphia and New York swapped edge rushers. Huff, who led the Jets with 10 sacks in the past campaign, inked a 3-year, 51 million dollar deal with Philadelphia at the beginning of the free agency.
New York wanted to sign with Shaq Barrett and Jadeveon Clowney, but they inked with the Dolphins and the Panthers, respectively.
