The Reds needed only 12 minutes to open the scoring as Luis Diaz was right on spot with a clean finish.
Only 3 minutes later the hosts were 2-0 up thanks to Cody Gakpo, who put the ball in the back of the net.
Jurgen Klopp’s side established real dominance on the pitch and Mohamed Salah sealed LASK fate minutes into the second half with cleanly converted penalty. Gakpo rounded off the final scoreline of 4-0 with his brace.
With the victory Liverpool now have 12 points out of possible 15 and sit atop of Group E. The goalless draw between Toulouse and Union means Jurgen Klopp men automatically earn top spot and will not have to go through a play-off round in February.
