Eder Militao has suffered a cruciate ligament injury in his left knee. The defender left the game vs. Athletic Club in tears, and everyone feared that the news could be bad, and the tests confirmed it.
The Royal club leader in the defense will miss at least 6 months, as that happened only a few days after Thibaut Courtois also suffered an ACL injury.
Real Madrid shared the awful news and announced that the Brazil international will undergo surgery to fix his ruptured anterior cruciate ligament as soon as possible.
Eder went to engage Sancet right at the beginning of the 2nd half, but in his attempt to stop him, Militao dug his left leg into the ground and suffered the ACL injury. The Brazilian immediately lay on the ground as his pain was visible, and it was clear that he would not be able to finish the match.
Real Madrid have only 3 healthy centre-backs: Alaba, Rudiger, and Nacho.
