The Edmonton Oilers inked goalie Olivier Rodrigue to a 1-campaign, 2-way extension through the 2024-25 campaign today.
Olivier, who is 23-year-old, was picked 62nd overall by the Canadian NHL franchise in 2018 and competed the majority of the last 4 campaigns with the AHL’s Bakersfield Condors.

The goalie has a 17-10 4 record with a 2.72 GAA and .915 save % in the AHL while sharing minutes in the position with Jack Campbell.
Rodrigue has a career 41-34-8 record in 85 matches with Bakersfield Condors with a career of .908 save % and 2.83 GAA.
The Canadian goaltender represented his country at the 2020 World Juniors in Czechia, as Canada triumphed with the title at the event.
With the extension, the young goalie would have a chance to impress the Oilers in the upcoming season and secure his spot on the roster.
