Anthony Edwards did not show emotions after making a crucial play against the OKC that led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 107-101 victory with 1st place in the West Conference at stake.
“Imma take this fine, but the refs did not give us no calls tonight.”

Anthony instead showed his frustration as Oklahoma City called a timeout after his basket that pushed the Timberwolves’ lead to 4 points with almost 2 minutes remaining. Anthony grabbed his left wrist right away after landing, indicating that he thought he was fouled during the episode. The Minnesota star stared at crew chief Mark Lindsay, indicating that the officials made a mistake by not giving him a foul.
However, Anthony kept his cool as his team closed out the win, but after the match, he spoke about the referees:
“I’m going to receive a fine because the officials did not give us any calls vs. Thunder.”
“The refs were awful tonight. Without a doubt, they were terrible,” Edwards shared with the media without prompting. “We were playing 8-on-5.”
