England didn’t have any mercy against Serbia and destroyed them 5-0 at their stadium and took a commanding lead in the group with 5 victories after 5 matches, and only a miracle could stop them from finishing in the 1st place as Albania and Serbia will fight for the 2nd place.
The 1st goal in the match was scored by the visitor’s captain Harry Kane as his header in the 33rd minute opened the score as he received an assist after a corner by Declan Rice. Only 2 minutes later, England secured a 2-goal lead as Rodgers gave the ball to Noni Madueke, who, after a fantastic individual run, scored the 2nd goal.
At the beginning of the 2nd half, Noni Madueke made it 3-0 for the Three Lions. In the 72nd minute, Serbia remained with 10 players on the pitch as Nikola Milenkovic received a red card, and only 3 minutes later, England scored for a 4th time as Marc Guehi netted it.
