England defeated Albania 1-0 at Wembley in Thomas Tuchel’s debut as the team manager as the Three Lions dominated and deserved to win the 3 points in the qualifier for the World Cup in 2026.
In the 1st half, Myles Lewis-Skelly scored after 20 minutes as he received a pass from Jude Bellingham and became the youngest footballer to score for England in his debut as he is 18 years, 176 days old.

Jude Bellingham had a fantastic chance to double the home side’s lead in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper denied him, and the ball ended in Harry Kane, but his shot was also denied by a defender with a goal-line clearance.
Only 2 minutes later, Dan Burn’s header after a corner was deflected onto the crossbar by the goalkeeper, and the ball went for another corner.
The home team continued to dominate in the 2nd half but had to wait until the final minutes of the match to see its lead doubled. Harry Kane received a fantastic pass from Declan Rice inside the penalty area, and he scored to double England’s lead in the 77th minute to secure the 3 points for his former Bayern Munich head coach and now manager at the Three Lions, Thomas Tuchel.
