The player agreed to join Phoenix.

Eric Gordon signed a 2-year deal with a player option with the Phoenix Suns, the player’s agents confirmed to ESPN.

Eric became a free agent after LA Clippers declined to guarantee his 21 million dollar deal a few days ago. The Clippers saved over 100 million dollars on tax bills with that move.

The franchise from L.A. sent Luke Kennard, John Wall, and a protected pick swap for Eric and 3 feature 2nd round picks in February.

Gordon scored 11 points per game as he shot over 40% from the 3-point line in 22 regular-season matches during his 2nd period with the franchise from Los Angeles. He performed worse postseason as he notched 10 points per match with 34.5% from the 3-point line in his team elimination in the 1st round of the Western Conference playoffs against the Suns.

Eric will now join Phoenix and will have the chance to play with Devin Booker, Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Deandre Ayton.
