Erik Ten Hag believes he can persuade Mount to join Manchester United

Manchester United’s manager Erik Ten Hag is confident he can lure Mason Mount into Old Trafford ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool, who are also Interested in the midfielder.

Mount is likely to leave Chelsea over the summer despite still having one more year in his contract and as expected the interest in him is quite significant.

Ten Hag believes he can make United one of the prime candidates for the 24-year-old signature.

If it were to happen, the transfer would be just one of many steps in the team’s rebuilding process under Ten Hag.

Mount along with the whole London team have suffered a miserable season and on top of that the Englishman campaign has been plagued by injuries.

The 24-year old has 195 appearances and 33 goals for Chelsea and he was part of the team that won the 2021 Champions League.
