Erik ten Hag shared that Sofyan Amrabat is available for the Red Devils after Morocco’s elimination from the AFCON.
Sofyan became part of the team from Old Trafford on loan from Fiorentina in the past summer, having played a crucial role in Morocco’s run to the 2022 World Cup ½ finals, but has yet to prove himself in the Premier League since joining his new club from Serie A.
After appearing from the 1st minute on the pitch in 7 EPL matches, he has 3 yellow cards and 0 goal contributions before leaving for the Africa Cup of Nations, where he played all of the matches of his nation, including the defeat by South Africa 2-0 in the 1/8 finals.
In his press conference before tomorrow’s clash against the Hammers, the Dutch manager of Manchester United admitted that Amrabat can play on Sunday.
“Sofyan will train today with the squad,” Ten Hag claimed in his pre-game press conference. “Tyrell Malacia and Mason Mount, I don’t think they will be in the group, but Victor Lindelof, I believe he is very close to returning.”
